 Dear Friends,

 Greetings in the precious name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

 The fall semester of Anchor Theological Seminary and Bible Institute (Alamo, TX Branch) is scheduled to begin August 21, 2007. Classes are scheduled for Tuesday and Thursday nights. ALL REGISTRATION FEES, TUITION AND MATERIAL FEES HAVE BEEN WAIVED FOR THE FALL SEMESTER. This is a wonderful opportunity to take some exciting and practical Bible institute level course presented on an academic level that any Christian will understand.

 The following courses will be taught by Dr. Tisdale, ATSBI president since 1990, on Tuesday nights.

• “CHRISTOLOGY” [APOL 201] at 7:00 pm. Because this is an apologetics course, the student will learn not only what the Bible teaches about the Lord Jesus Christ, but will also learn how to defend the doctrine of Christ against false teachings.   Some of the subjects taught in this 16-week course are: The Prophesies Concerning Christ, Life and Miracles of Christ, Jesus Christ-The Same Yesterday, Today, and Forever (What Does That Mean?), The Virgin Birth, Proofs of Christ’s Deity, The Relationship of the Father and Son, The Humanity of Christ, The Sinlessness of Christ, Dealing With Objections to Christ’s Sinlessness, The Character of Christ, The Death of Christ, and The Resurrection of Christ.
• “THE PASTORAL MINISTRY [MIN 201] at 8:00 pm. Any Christian worker will benefit from this class. It is especially designed for the believer who desires to serve as a pastor of a New Testament church.  Some of the subjects taught in this 16-week course are: The Divine Call, Preaching Effectively, The Sermon, The Philosophy of Preaching, The Pastor Pastoring, What Topics to Preach?, The Importance of Language, Pastoral Helps, The Wedding Ceremony, Premarital Counseling, The Funeral Service, The Business Meeting, and The Baptismal Service.

 The following courses will be taught by Dr. Tisdale on Thursday nights.

• “BIBLE ANALYSIS-HOW TO UNDERSTAND THE BIBLE” [BSM 301] at 7:00 pm. The purpose of this16-week course is to teach the sincere Bible student how to study the Bible and to intelligently and accurately interpret any passage of scripture in the Bible. Ministers, Sunday School teachers, and all sincere Christians will benefit from this course of study.  
• “SATANOLOGY, DEMONOLOGY AND THE UNDERWORLD” [BD 301] at 8:00 pm. This 16-week course is a thorough study on the subject of the enemy of every Christian ~ Satan, and demonology. Some of the subjects that will be taught are The Existence and Origin of Satan, The Fall of Satan, Satan’s Character, Satan’s Present Location and Methods, Satan’s Kingdom, The Underworld, Demons and Satan’s Angels, Where Do Demons Work and Thrive, Categories of Demons, The Kinds and Effects of Demons, Who Can Have Demons?, Symptoms of Being Demonized, Involuntary Demon Invasion, Voluntary Demon Invasion,. Who May Oust Demons? and Helping the Demon Oppressed.

We are very appreciative to the kind members of the Alamo Community Church for providing a beautiful facility for us to use.  We desire to be a blessing to churches in the Rio Grande Valley by providing means for sincere Christians from various denominations to prepare for ministry. It is our wish to help strengthen churches by preparing Christians for ministry service in and through the church where they hold membership.
